After hotel breakfast, begin our wonderful city tour by visiting Forbidden City, which is the largest and the best-preserved imperial palace complex in the world. Then tour Tiananmen Square and outside view of the National Grand Theater. Afterwards, visit Temple of Heaven, where the emperors worshiped the heaven and prayed for grain harvest and rainfall. It is the existing largest and highest ranking complex of sacred places in China. Lastly, Stop by Tongrentang Chinese Medicine Institute, which had been designated to provide medicines for the royal pharmacy of the imperial palace of the Qing Dynasty for 188 years. Enjoy the famous Beijing acrobatic show after dinner. |

Looking like a gigantic dragon across deserts, grasslands and mountains, the Great Wall of China is one of the 'Eight Wonders of the World'. We tour the Juyongguan portion of the Great Wall in the morning and stop by a Jade Workshop where we will learn some information about the precious jade. Afterwards, pay a visit to the Changling of the Ming Tombs. Lastly, drive by Olympic Village and have a photo stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube. Peking Duck Dinner will be served tonight. |

Day 6 : BEIJING - XI'AN (B/L/D) |
|
This morning you will take a flight to Xian, the ancient capital city for 11 dynasties in Chinese history. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Afterwards, proceed to visit Shaanxi History Museum, which has been regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures”. Then take an outside view of the Ancient City Wall. |

Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors& Horses, which are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, and pay a visit to the Terra-cotta Figure Workshop en route. Then tour the Qinshihuang Mausoleum. Back to the town, proceed to visit Shaanxi History Museum, which has been regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and house of Chinese treasures”. Tonight, we will enjoy Dumpling banquet and Tang Dynasty Show. |

Day 8 : Xian- Chongqing (B/L/D) |

Have a good rest at hotel after breakfast. Take a stroll on the Muslim Street. Then take flight to Chongqing, and Proceed to pier to get on board of the cruise after dinner. Depart Chongqing - 9:00 pm: Sail from picturesque Chongqing, the “Mountain City”. |

Day 9 : YANGTZE RIVER (B/L/D) |

Shibaozhai - Take a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, with its impressive wooden pagoda, appropriately named “The Pearl of the Yangtze”. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to Fengdu, visiting the new relocation village built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze’s rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam. Additional optional Shore Excursion to Fengdu’s “Ghost City” (river conditions permitting), known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill. |

Day 10 : YANGTZE RIVER (B/L/D) |

Enter the Three Gorges/“Small Gorges”
Enter the Three Gorges, one of nature’s most extraordinary sculptures. Today you will pass through the first two—Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge is the shortest (5 miles), narrowest (500 feet), and most dramatic. The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Goddess Stream. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted to the gorges of Shennong Stream. Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles), and the deepest of the Three Gorges. Additional optional Shore Excursion to White Emperor City (river conditions permitting), an ancient city overlooking the western end of Qutang Gorge. |

Day 11 : YICHANG - SHANGHAI (B/L/D) |

Ship Lock/Three Gorges Dam/Yichang – Disembark this morning and take a specially-designed sightseeing boat through the recently-completed unique ship lock with a ship lift, the world’s largest. The lock will be transited in about 40 minutes to an hour. Then visit the Three Gorges Dam, which spans the Yangtze River at Sandouping; it is the world’s largest power station. After lunch, take a flight to Shanghai.Then transfer to Shanghai, stop by the Jewel Store. Visit the Bund, which is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. Then City God Temple Plaza and the Nanjing Road, which is No. 1 commercial center in China. Free time to do the shopping and enjoy the city on your own pace.

Have some free time visiting the City God Temple Plaza and Pudong new area in the morning. At specified time, transfer to airport for the homebound flight. Tour ends..
